The BOB Process

Community Planning Sessions

GIVING RESIDENTS A SEAT AT THE TABLE

We held two community planning sessions at the Speed Art Museum to gather input on what residents wanted to see in their community.

The community meetings also provide a great opportunity for us to explain what the BOB process looks like for their community.

After the planning sessions, residents were able to visit the Speed Art Museum for free!

Neighborhood Canvassing

DOOR-TO-DOOR, FACE-TO-FACE

Alongside amazing volunteers, the D15 office went door-door with our menu of free services, asking people what they needed. Residents could fill out the survey on the spot, or they could fill it out online at their convenience.

Jennifer, Alena, and Amy also went to every business in the Third Street area to tell business owners about BOB and to garner participation.

Volunteers from UofL helped us canvas the entire neighborhood one final time to distribute a BOB bag filled with great resources to every door in the area!
