Every iteration of BOB is different, so while we always provide the same services through our partner organizations, the full extent of BOB is customized to every community.
We rely heavily on input from the community to guide BOB. To help us envision the full scope, we invite you to attend community meetings and fill out the resident survey.
We recognize that neighborhood meetings aren't 100% representative of the entire neighborhood and not everyone is home when we canvas the neighborhood, so we encourage anyone to contact us any time.

There is no cost to participate or receive services!
We work hard to keep BOB services free of charge to residents. By working with Louisville Metro departments and other partner organizations, we are able to leverage the resources that many of them already provide. The D15 office also applies for grants to fund some aspects of BOB, such as tree planting.
Donations are also solicited from community anchors so that we can maximize BOB.

BOB happens twice a year. Each BOB is held in a different part of District 15.
Each BOB starts with community meetings. Once input for the bigger vision is gathered, we move onto canvassing the entire BOB area, asking residents to fill out a survey (er, a BOB Menu). After more data is gathered, we canvas the neighborhood one last time to deliver a goodie bag to every household. All this work culminates in a week of work that ends out with a BIG event day, celebrating the community.
All-in-all, each BOB takes about 6 months of planning and execution.

We have every BOB mapped out through 2028, which will ensure every corner of D15 has experienced BOB by the end of 2028. Stay connected with the D15 office to hear the latest BOB news, including announcements for the next BOB.
