Meet BOB.
B.O.B. stands for Building Our Blocks and is a program that seeks to uplift a community through targeted projects that include home repair, street safety improvements, beautification, and a whole lot more. The program is community-led, Louisville Metro-supported, and non-profit partnered. It’s organized and implemented by Louisville Metro Council District 15 Councilwoman Jennifer Chappell’s office.
The goal is to be proactive in solving issues our community members face by bringing city services and resources to folks’ doorstep.
What makes BOB great?
-
Services
From visible improvements to connected care, we’re committed to showing city government is working.
-
Partners
We can’t do it alone, so we partner with amazing local non-profit partners to leverage our work and showcase theirs.
-
Volunteers
The selflessness of our volunteers helps us reach more of the community and maximizing BOB’s impact.
“I attended BOB today and took advantage of the vet clinic and got both my dogs up to date on shots and microchipped. I also got 4 trees, free dog food, lots of candy and info as I did visit each both and interact with volunteers and neighborhoods... It was a beautiful spring day and, for us, a very successful day! I will brag on this event! Job well done!”

INTRODUCING
BOB: THIRD STREET
BOB is headed to Third Street—from the Can Opener to Kroger, from Floyd Street to Fifth Street—and we can’t wait to get started!
If you live in that area, we need YOU to help us help you.
